The Hotel is a Four Star Property located on the scenic coast of the Algarve, Portugal.
The hotel is currently showing the signs of years of wear and tear and requires a refurbishment to bring back the life and character expected of a World Class International Four Star Resort. The property is located Just meters from one of the most popular beaches in the Algarve and has the true potential to change from being just another beachside hotel to a dynamic world class resort.
The transition from hotel to resort requires a concept that will be recognizable to not only the Portuguese tourist but to the International Clientele. The hotel has the basis for becoming a resort based in large part on its location and proximity to the beachfront.
The transformation of the property will require the concept to be developed throughout both the interior and exterior of the existing building. The resort concept can be developed on the exterior by creating a garden oasis within the property We propose to do this by encircling the hotel with a garden and pool making almost all the areas of the property accessible to the hotel guest. We can further enhance the guests' enjoyment by extending the perception of she garden experience all the way to the beach. This will allow the guest to feel that the beach is part of their hotel resort experience and added amenity.
To reinforce the concept, we must enhance the experience within the hotel. This new life must greet the guest upon their arrival to the hotel. The experience becomes a journey, a journey of discovery that encompasses the life. the times and the sensations of the Algarve. The interiors should reflect this in the layout. the design, the materials and the colors The layout must be convenient and apparent, the design must be responsive and true, the materials must be durable and representative of the region and the colors must exude the emotion and excitement of a true holiday experience. The overall result should Ideally exceed the guests' level of expectation.
The current hotel has the foundation and the structure from which to develop this concept. The development of this rebirth will allow the Hotel to become a Four Star property that is truly representative of the Algarve and its people.
