A three year old house for sale, which has been built in a traditional Portuguese style using traditional materials to a very high standard, close to Tomar in Central Portugal. This four bedroom property has many features including covered entrance portico with double doors, Oak spiral staircase, hand painted tiles and wooden beamed terraces. The property is set over three floors and provides generous living accommodation with some luxury features.
The property is fully double glazed and has internal shutters as well as Oak internal doors and frames. The are television points to all rooms and the property has been pre-installed for digital television. At present the property is connected to two satellite systems, which will be included in the sale. There is a traditional Portuguese style cobbled drive with parking for up to three vehicles, paved patio areas, lawn and room for a swimming pool. There is a storeroom, which houses the tank for the central heating system and room for swimming pool pump.
Ground Floor: There is a large covered entrance with vestibule to the rear of the property with electronic roller shutter door to the garage and entrance door to a large kitchen diner. The garage is fully tiled and is large enough to accommodation up to two vehicles. Off the garage there is a fully tiled laundry room, a shower room with traditional style sanitary wear.
First Floor: The front entrance has a portico with wooden beamed roof and stone steps. The entrance hall has hand painted tiles on the walls, to dado rail height and an impressive Oak spiral staircase, which leads to the second floor. Off the hallway, through double glazed doors there is a large (47 square metres) triple aspect living room with open stone fireplace. Off the living room there is a fully marble tiled toilet and door leading to a kitchen. The kitchen is fully fitted with oak units and all modern appliances including Ariston, hob, cooker and dishwasher. There are four bedrooms, one en-suite, and three with fitted Oak wardrobes, on this floor, which are accessed via a separate hallway, which has wooden flooring. The master suite has a large en-suite shower room with double Oak vanity unit.  There is a large family sized bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and marble topped vanity unit.
Second Floor: The second floor is accessed by a stunning Oak spiral staircase. At present this floor is not divided into rooms, but could easily to provide more bedrooms or living accommodation.
The property is located in the village of Linhaceira, which has cafe bars, restaurants, shops, a sports pavilion, nursery and pottery. It is close to the IC3 Coimbra motor way and is only six kilometres from the World Heritage town of Tomar. The property is located in a quiet street and has views across the countryside. There are many five star golf courses within an hours' drive of the property and the lake of Castelo do Bode is only a ten minute drive. The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and quarter hours' by car.
